Sommer garage door opener incompatible with Tesla Homelink

has any one been successful in patching through this compatibility gap? I've spent hours on the phone with both Homelink and Sommers, possibly speaking with someone in another country. No clear answer yet. Success stories would be greatly appreciated.

Only side here, the existing receiver was not homelink compatible, but it was possible to wire in a new parallel receiver. This configuration works well here, so the other 27 units that use the underground parking use the "old" receiver, and my Tesla uses the new receiver. Perhaps an option for you as well?

FWIW .. try another remote. The hand units never would work. They'd be recognized, but nothing. The wall mount was the solution.

This is the only thing that worked with my Genie unit ..
