I've not used mine that much but I did notice a bit of a squeak the other day (collect in Sept). One to add to list for when it needs to go in for something else.
I logged it in the tesla app and went to the SC to fix it (there was one more thing to address with paint missing). On my return home the windows squeaking again .
I have my M3LR for a bit more then a year now. Last winter, there was no squeaking noice issue, none. This summer, I tinted my side windows. About a month ago, I start to notice the squeaking noice which is actually quite loud especially when raining or right after.
So, I wonder now if it is because of windows tint touching the rubber or the install operation itself? Do you guys have windows tinted?
On my previous car, I had some kind of “hydrant moisture stick” (I believe is silicon based) to be used especially in winter on the rubber seals. I’m thinking of using that on the rubbers of the Tesla but windows will then be in direct contact with the silicon so I could risk to have them always “dirty”.
Anyone that found the solution, please share here.
