Standard Range Plus now identified as Standard [Update: bug that only effects Canadian Model 3’s]

Darn, I did in fact lose the immersive audio toggle switch in audio settings because of this bug but still have fog lights.

Just curious...is your range down to 220 now instead of 240? That's what I'd be the most stressed about...

Yep both Stats app and the cars computer are still reporting a rated range of 384-386km (240 miles) so the range is within SR+ spec

Quick update - sent e-mail to customer support - e-mail bounce back with a response that e-mails are not any longer monitored ! Started a chat with Tesla -" We are aware of the case and the file was escalated to the Advance Supporting Team. No need to follow up." I will be contacted when are ready to re-configure my vehicle.

I’m getting the same story as you. Case is being handled by the Advanced Technical Support Team. They will be in touch but no ETA given.

Hi, Nothing serious but anyone with a Standard Range Plus notice the car is now identified as a Model 3 "Standard" in the software section? I'm pretty sure it used to read Model 3 "Standard Plus".

Just noticed am in same situation of SR+ showing Standard, also in Canada, June 2019 delivery date.

Same for me too. March 2019 delivery date. My feeling is its minor....range or any of the other features I care about don`t appear to have been affected. I bet it will be corrected in the next update.

Maybe a sign of things to come such as a further software restricted trim. Model 3 “city”, it’ll be the modern day S40.

I would like to upgrade to sr+ but only have the autopilot as an upgrade option. Service staff in Calgary told me they didn’t know how to do it. Has anyone in Canada been able to upgrade to plus?

I don't think that Canadian SRs can be upgraded t SR+s.

I just got a text from Tesla Mobile Service. Said my car will be fixed in 1-2 days. I checked and it's already done. Immersive sound is back and it now identifies as a Plus. Not sure is anything else behind the scenes is fixed but car feels faster (Placebo effect)

SR does have performance nerfed compared to SR+, so if it really was treating your car as a SR going back to SR+ would result in a slight performance boost.

Put me in the camp of unbundling AP from the “+ capacity” — which is only worth anything when charging to 100%.
