Stock suspension in RWD 3/Y

The ride in the back seat of our new 2023 RWD 3 & Y is a bit bouncy. Has anyone tried weight in the subtrunk to give the suspension more resistance? If so, did you lock it down somehow or just let it float? We have some weight-lifting plates lying around no one is using. Thinking + 50 lbs might help…we are usually pretty empty / light in the back of the car for daily driving.

If not that, then what else? I’m not interested in dropping a bunch of cash into coilovers until we get closer to 100,000 miles.

I have noticed the ride does seem better with four people in the car, but I haven’t tried adding weight in the trunk, specifically. I have changed tires for the winter up here and the ride seems a lot better.

Another thing you can try is dropping air pressure in your tires. I dropped mine to 40 psi. Expect some loss in range for all of the above.
