"Summon was cancelled because the proximity sensor on your phone was covered”

Does anyone know how to fix the above issue?

I frequently get this message. Haven't found a fix. Usually end up aborting the summon and get in and back out the garage the old fashioned way
.

It happens because you are covering your phone proximity sensor, usually placed at the top of the phone close to the speaker. Just move your hand away.

What they said, I gave up using my phone to summon my car, app took too long to connect, the above proximity sensor, and just failed to connect messages. I enabled summon for my keyfob and never looked back.

You guys are going to have a hard time with enhanced summon then.

I won't mind using the phone for enhanced, when I finally get it. It's just so much faster and easier with the fob and the phone offers no advantage for regular summon.
