Great choice: Motel 6 has been my favorite hotel because it's friendly to my dogs!

This is going to be a great spot if Disney gets Anaheim to let them go ahead with their Disneyland Forward plans. It would be located almost right across the street from the proposed Eastern Gateway parking structure and transportation center.

I made a crude overlay based on the last released plans for the Eastern Gateway but it should be fairly similar. Disney has the property acquired and just need the go-ahead from the city of Anaheim. If anything, the Eastern Gateway facility might be larger since USCIS moved out.

Don't they have several spots on the city council?

Not sure about the politics of the council. But the last time they proposed the Eastern Gateway and tried to move forward with this project it got shot down because the businesses on harbor boulevard were not happy about a flyover pedestrian bridge that would bypass them.

So the work stalled out and they elected to build the Pixar Pals Parking Structure next to the existing Mickey and Friends structure instead.

Any updates on this? I'm surprised it's not at the shopping center closer to Manchester/Katella/Anaheim with the Starbucks, Habit Grill and other quick service locations.
