Electrify said their charging stations were working yesterday so maybe you went a day too early..
I stopped by Elizabeth today and there were workmen digging trenches in the grass bank behind the Superchargers and running some kind of large cable from the area of the Electrify America chargers.
I drove here on my lunch break about 2 weeks ago. Nothing was active. According to PlugShare the EA network is now active.
This is a huge station for me - it will allow me to simplify my lack of workplace charging. Hope it doesn’t get too crowded.
Also hope Tesla will launch a CCS to Tesla adapter for the US market so we can use EA and EVGo stations... don’t really want to shell out $500 for the Chademo.

Do you have time to check it again? If the EA chargers are active, there's no good reason why the Tesla chargers should be far behind.

Actually I’m relying on memory but I think Elizabeth showed up in car as a functioning SC site Sunday when headed from NYC to the shore. I ended up using Kearny but I’m pretty sure Elizabeth showed as an option. Not near car at moment to double check
It still shows up in mine as 'Temporarily Closed', which is the same status it's had since it first appeared on the navigation system.
Yes, I dont see it active on the Tesla website either.
How is the Kearny location? Is it close to the turnpike or do you have to zig zag through Newark and Harrison to get there? I work at the airport so this is kind of on my way home but it is out of the way.

It’s easy on/off the Turnpike although you exiting/entering toll plazas each time. WaWa at the charger site, Walmart a short walk. Not in Newark at all It’s functional but lacking in choices
Have you found it to be busy? It's been very busy the couple of times I've been there.
I've used it a about 5 times this summer. Been half full always. Sometimes less.
I second the opinion above. Easy on and off but gotta zigzag and tolls. A bit annoying if turnpike trafficky bc you can only get on or off at one of the spurs so if that's the one with traffic. Bummer.

Ok, I ran out there in my lunch break today. As we recently mentioned the EA sites appear to be active. There is one Chademo connector otherwise they’re all CCS. It doesn’t appear that there is power on the Tesla side yet.
Oddly enough the planning a trip page from Tesla website suggests this is running. ABRP and PlugShare don’t show it at all.

I forgot to update it. Whoever did put the hours as 24/7, which is why it appears as such. Will fix
