Surprisingly great food in Kanab. Sego is world class but it’s 1.3 miles from Escobar’s.

Sego was a total surprise and we loved it. One of the best meals I’ve ever had and it was a total “this place is open” night for us

I would this to be true, but I would suggest taking this with a big grain of salt.

Consider that supercharger voting for Q3 just ended a couple of weeks ago. It's highly unlikely that Tesla would finalize an agreement with a host property in that time.

Perhaps this was already in the works, and Tesla was going to build it regardless of the supercharger voting, but otherwise I can't see how this could have been done in 2 weeks.

Either way, hopefully Tesla builds something in Kanab sooner rather than later!

For those familiar with Kanab, G maps also shows a Marriott Springhill Suites near this location, but it isn’t built yet. So the new SC will probably be built in conjunction with the new hotel.
