I think there's enough CHAdeMO/CCS coverage up there to make up for the lower Supercharger density. I have a CHAdeMO adapter I can loan out if you need it for a trip. I did a trip up the Gunflint years ago with my Tesla during a particularly brutal weekend in January and made it work.

I have a CHAdeMO adapter. The north shore is fine (I go there frequently), but this trip is taking me to Ely, and the public chargers in Virgina are DOA

edit: I should note this is a "I don't feel like dealing with it" more than a "I can't do it" situation. I've pushed the bounds of electric travel more than most, trust me
