Possible Tesla Supercharger coming to the Target located at 60 Yorktown Shopping Center, Lombard, IL 60148.

Per the planning board information found by Marco, the project is scheduled to come before the planning board 1/22/24.

This is probably the one that the Tesla site still lists as Oak Brook coming in Q3 2023. It was leaked as having a Butterfield Road address on the north side of the street, which is technically Lombard. The Target store is closer to 22nd Street, but that whole wedge of shopping mall is Lombard.

Hmmmm. We were thinking it would have been at/near the P.F. Chang's or Yardhouse. That corner in there somewhere. But Target is OK. Not much to eat except Harry Caray's. Would be nice to have round the clock bathrooms near.

It's sad that it's only in the planning stage. I was expecting it to be open by now...

The leaked address was 3050 Butterfield, which would have put it on the north side of Butterfield, and outside of Oak Brook. I kinda expected it to actually be at the Oak Brook Promenade plaza, which is 3001-3051 Butterfield. I even stopped by there in September to see if I could spot any construction for the supposed Q3 2023 opening. Didn't find any of course.

I drove by the Target parking lot today, which is probably twice as big as the lot by Yardhouse & PF Chang — a much smaller chance of stalls getting ICEd.
