Supercharger - San Mateo, CA - 2940 South Norfolk Street (LIVE 28 Aug 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

A new permit was just found by Marco today for 2940 S Norfolk at a new Hampton Inn under construction (one exit south of the previous permit). I suspect this is a replacement site for the other - but not sure. It's California so this could be an additional site, or a replacement for the original San Mateo V2 the other side of the 101.

Wow this new SC is awfully close to the V3's near Whole Foods. Those are always busy so glad to hear 12 stalls less than 2 miles away.

I took a quick lap around, but didn’t see signs of Supercharger construction. The new hotel is in it’s final stages of construction, so my view could have been blocked by some of their fencing, etc.

Wow this new SC is awfully close to the V3's near Whole Foods. Those are always busy so glad to hear 12 stalls less than 2 miles away.

Quick correction the SCs at the Whole Foods locations are V2s.

The charger looks ready but I could not see close by because the hotel its located at is still under construction. I was able to get this picture that we can see one charger. From the bridge is possible to see more chargers and a powerpack.

Hotel construction continues.... and not access to super charger to check closely... Main driveway of hotel is not paved yet.

It is possible to book this hotel only after August 14. Maybe this is the date they plan to launch the hotel. I wonder if they would launch the charger before the hotel launches.
