Supercharger - Suwanee, GA

They have now set 8 charger frames and are running plastic pipe to what I assume is a transformer for an electricity source (towards the Main Event/Bowling Center). The charger frames are on (4 each end) opposite ends, so perhaps 4 more in the center?

Will stop by later, and see if I can get a better photo -

Making progress, but it will not be done by April. Looks like they have at least 1 to 1.5 months to go...

4 + 1 on one side, 4 on the other side.

Is this a normal configuration/layout?

Maybe they shipped 12 (or 16) but only needed 8? Perhaps miscommunication between design team and logistics. Can next person here confirm pedestal count actually installed? The photos from @interfx show 8* but I don't know if that's all of them. (actually 7 but one more is probably sideways)

Looks like a bunch of unused preformed bases left over?
Those leftover bases are a traditional V3 pre-cast base. The ones the posts are installed on a newer version that's compatible with future replacement v4 charging posts. They probably decided to make this site upgradable after shipping the original bases and sent the newer ones to use instead. Chances are when they finish this site off you will find those charging posts are closer to parking-spot center vs. the traditional location right where the line is.

Note that that open cabinet pictured is a distribution / switchgear cabinet (usually just one at a site), not a power conversion cabinet (2-4 or more at a site). The power conversion cabinets have big stack of power converter modules inside and the mesh vent at the top. More here at TeslaTap.
Thanks! Yes, there are 3 of those cabinets with mesh tops next to it. Photos in an earlier photo in this thread.

Quick update the fencing around the perimeter of the super chargers has calm down and there was a gentleman today that had a couple of new trash cans that he was installing around the chargers. It seems like once they remove all the extra equipment and clean up the dirt and grass around the chargers It will be ready for launch.
