Any idea what those electrical boxes against the wall are for? I don't recall seeing those installed at any other locations. Level 2 charging perhaps?

The electricians ran the underground outside the parking lot to minimize damage to the parking garage floor. They then core drilled through the wall to feed each pedistal. Code requires a box with every 360 degrees of pipe bends. They needed the boxes and that is what they did to feed each pedestal.

I knew you'd have the answer. I was thinking along those lines as I noticed the holes in the wall and lack of the usual black structure along the floor indicated it wasn't a standard installation. The level 2 guess was a last second idea that I'm glad you didn't endorse. Thanks!

All 20 stalls installed and site cleaned up. But all cables are reversed. I think the cable may need to come over the trunk to reach the charge port If the reversed pedestals stay this way.

Tried to call the havepower phone number but got voice email. I emailed the website contact mark.johnston with the diagram from fairfax county and the picture below. See if I get any reply from them…

Good morning, thank you for the email. We had to install backwards here since the junction box is on the back side, we would not be able to wire them up. The parking lines are moving to allow the installation to work.

Me:
So you mean the parking lines will be repainted to shift to the left a little bit?

Havepower.com:
Yes, the lines will be moved to be lined up with the center of the chargers.

Good news: I can confirm that if they place the wheel stops properly, the cables will reach as the lines are now.

Bad news: No sign of a transformer.

Site looks complete except for the transformer and meter. Cars do plug in properly with new stripping
