Rear is not the problem, it’s what will you pair in the front in relation to the size of the rearIs there enough room and clearance in the rears for a 295/40 R21?

I now have 600+ miles on this set up and can confirm improvement of ride quality over stock p-zeroes.After hearing from others that these sizes are backordered at TireRack, DiscountTire, 1010 etc, I found and ordered the below from Walmart.com today to mount on the OEM 21" Uberturbines:
Front Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4 265/40/21, Manu model 43550
Rear Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4 285/40/21, Manu model 19360
I don't like the way Walmart.com listed the 265/40R21 product name without the XL rating but cross-referencing the model number (43550) they list, 1010 has it listed correctly as the 265/40ZR21 XL.
The 285 size sounds like it's been the hard one to find but somehow, Walmart has it on sale for $150 off per tire. That plus free shipping and a 90 day return policy seemed like a no-brainer.

I guess I'll just stack them in my garage and haul them to KC on MYP pickup day and find a tire shop there to swap them onto the Ubers.
Thank you to @Quorky, @Maximus2002, @MJP.P3D- and all the others who diligently documented this setup, I think it's going to be a massive improvement over stock and will alleviate a lot of anxiety about potentially being forced to drive from KC to OKC in Dec/Jan on summer Pirellis.

Thanks man, anxious to see that. I'm ok with that tradeoff, should still have plenty of range and a better ride for our in-town commuter.I now have 600+ miles on this set up and can confirm improvement of ride quality over stock p-zeroes.
I am seeing a hit to my efficiency (as expected) and will post the total delta once I reach 1000 miles.
Are you adjusting your efficiency for the error in the speedometer? Your true efficiency per mile should be viewed as "watts per mile consumption you see on your screen" divided by 1.039 (the error coefficient of your speedo). Please let us know if you are still seeing lower efficiency after this adjustment.I now have 600+ miles on this set up and can confirm improvement of ride quality over stock p-zeroes.

Excellent point! No, I was not making that adjustment, but will before I share results. Are you adjusting your efficiency for the error in the speedometer? They look so much better than the stock size IMO, and the ride is better.Did it! Installed 265/40 21 + 285/40 21 Pirelli Scorpion Winter tires on Ubers.
First impressions - love the added height and the look, the ride is less rigid, and the speedometer is 2-3 miles understated (says 70, going 72). No noticeable effect on the handling yet and the rims are not the furthest protruding part of the wheel anymore.
The tires were ~ $1500 shipped from TireRack and DiscountTire did the mounting for $85. Both TR and DT were cautious and warned of the tires being oversized. DT even tested the front and back before finishing the other side just to be sure. They definitely fit with no issues so far (45 psi) and I think 295/40 21 rears would have been ok too.
Thanks for everyone on this forum for helping to figure out valid options for the Uberturbines.
Fills the wells perfectly, exactly what I want. Kicking myself for not ordering them sooner, can’t find them anywhere now.View attachment 735774
285/40/21 rear, 265/40/21 front
Previous speedo said 76MPH at GPS speed of 75mph, now reads 73MPH at GPS of 75MPH.
Buyer beware, Walmart botched this order:
Walmart.com has the size and Michelin model number listed correctly but they shipped me two 265/35ZR18s. Wrong in three ways (265 v 285, 35 v 40, 18 v 21), huge whiff.

The website listing and my order confirmation have the correct sizes listed but the tires (and barcode on the tires) are definitely incorrect. It's been an adventure. I've been to Walmart twice to try to return them and they don't seem to have any idea what to do. I assume since the barcode is completely incorrect, it's showing "not found" when they scan it to return from my order info. I ended up just leaving them there with the store manager's word that they would manually push a refund to my credit card. Now I'm worried. I ordered the correct sizes from Walmart on Friday. Paperwork confirms that. We'll see what they shipped this Wednesday.
Did they say they'd get you the right tires? I'm questioning if they even have them. Last week they listed one 265/40/21 remaining, so I didn't order. A day later they listed both sizes in stock with the 285/40/21 priced at $219.99. Too good to be true?
In another twist, I just saw on our Ring that FedEx dropped two more tires today. I’m hoping they’re the correct 265/40/21s but who knows since they weren’t supposed to arrive until late Dec. We shall see…That's just insane. In the belly of the beast!
"My tires" (now in doubt) will be delivered for pickup at a local Walmart. We'll see what the tide brings in.
Can you take a picture please showing how much space is left between the tire and the rear part of the wheel well when wheels are turned 80%?View attachment 735774

Good news, the two tires that arrived from Walmart.com today are the correct AS4 265/40/21s for the fronts. Hopefully that means at least two of yours will also be correct, keep us posted. If by some miracle you receive all four correctly, I'm going to retry ordering the 285/40/21s from them, would love to get them for that advertised price. That's just insane. Appears to be ~credit card width worth of space. Very little. Can you take a picture please showing how much space is left between the tire and the rear part of the wheel well when wheels are turned 80%?
Congrats! Those fronts look beefy! (I do have a lifelong tire fetish — with or without velour. It's the smell.)Good news, the two tires that arrived from Walmart.com today are the correct AS4 265/40/21s for the fronts. Edit: forgot to mention they have the Ring Velour detail on the sidewall, I think I read they may have done away with that? Hope not, it looks great.
