Tan seats and dye transfer.

Hi! I have tan seats and the passenger seat has stains from I'm guessing my kids clothing. I tried cleaning but nothing works. Has anyone had luck with a service center addressing the issue?

What did you try for cleaning? I had some significant blue jeans dye transfer onto my tan seats and it took some elbow grease and leather cleaner.

Mine stains are dark brown. I used leather cleaner and also Dye cleaner products it made no difference.

Interesting. 60k and lots of denim on my tan next gen seats and not a single mark.

I have Tan seats and Simoniz Leather Cleaner always gets either the blue dye from jeans or any other stain off with no problems

I got to take a photo. Its not bluejean dye. It seems thats easy to clean.

Do you drive the car to work?, and if so what kind of work do you do. I have never seen my seats look like that. Its mostly blue jeans that cause marks on my seats.

We just found that one of the family's leather belts has a dye or finish that has transferred to our tan seats. Tried water, mild soap, and a gentle cleaner, none moved it a bit. Haven't tried the magic eraser or leather cleaner, but thought we'd ask here to see if any folks have solved similar issues (and yes, once we've cleaned it, we'll retire the offending belt).
