I’m keeping my Yatch open console!

There is a certain beauty to the open concept Tesla had with the earlier, no-console models. I've got longish legs and like having something to rest my leg against while driving. LOL... so basically I'm lazy and need a leg prop.

Mine arrived yesterday. 13 days from order from arrival on the east coast. Although it’s not OEM, I’m pretty satisfied thus far. It certainly has the OEM look, and fit well i didn’t have to use the towel behind it, as it appears the sliding piece on the end helps to secure and lock it in place.

Here is a RHD Model S from Australia with the Taptes Centre Console Insert.

Overall it is pretty good. The mechanisms for the piano black tilt compartment and the longer sliding sections are not as good compared to the rest of the design.

I have carpet in my centre section and I'm not sure if this should be removed (or if it can).

FYI, I added the Taptes wireless charger and it fits and works well! I had to take off the side panels and kind of lock it into place by attaching the panels back then it was snug. The USB ports did not power the wireless charger, however, I got a cigarette adapter off Amazon and it works great. Loving it so far

Looks very OEM. For people who own this, are you able to rest your leg on this? I have longer legs and when I drive my fiancé’s model 3 my leg/knee gently rests on the center console. I don’t want to buy something for $450 that isn’t structurally sound.

Hi Jamesus, Model S has a bigger space than Model 3, and we did not receive any feedback regarding your question.

Purchased mine back in December. After 4 months the fake leather is now peeling and bubbling... I hope this won’t get worse
