Tax Credit Documenation

My accountant is asking for a "Certificate of Uniformity". I found some stuff on the IRS website listing the EV cars that are eligible for the full credit. Tesla had several cars including the Model 3 Long Range, but did not have Mid Range listed, which is what I have.

Anyone else seen this document? Know where to get it?

This should be done by manufacturer and VIN, like Turbo Tax does it. Sounds like your accountant isn’t using the right software. A list may not have the MR since it was recent, but any software should only look for Tesla’s code since all they make are BEV’s that are large enough for the full credit.

Yeah, that list is BS and wrong.

No other Tesla has ‘sizes’ and the 3 LR does? Makes no sense. Any car sold in 2018 gets the full credit.
