Assuming you qualify at all (Credits for New Clean Vehicles Purchased in 2023 or After | Internal Revenue Service and Frequently Asked Questions About the New, Previously-Owned and Qualified Commercial Clean Vehicles Credit | Internal Revenue Service), you could start taking advantage this year by reducing your withholdings for all of this year.
I have no Tesla but wouldn't qualify anyway. My income is too high due to the new income cap. It didn't exist prior to Aug 2022.

The simple answer to your question is "No, because you did not buy the car in 2022. if you did, the car would not qualify for any credits at all".
I ordered a MYLR(AWD)w/3rd row and took delivery Aug 2022.

You may qualify for a clean vehicle tax credit up to $7,500 if you buy a new, qualified plug-in electric vehicle or fuel cell electric vehicle.

...hmmm wondering if its worth it to transfer it to my business name 2023; ha then maybe sell it back to myself personally.
used ev cars are not eligible for tax credit if you do not purchase from an auto dealer
