Temperature Gauge messed up

About 2 months ago, I took my car to the airport and valet parked it (I treat myself well). This was back when it was routinely 0 degrees here. When I checked in on the car while I was away, the internal temperature said over 100 degrees. I didn't give this much thought - the valet area can often be hot, and maybe it's a short term misfire. Since then though, the temperature gauge has consistently read 10-15 degrees high. This doesn't feel like the standard "car reads a little high due to internal temp". Less concerning, but separately, I'm also surprised how long it takes to adjust. When I leave a heated environment into the cold, it can take 10 minutes or more to fully adjust. Other vehicles I've owned adjust in 1-2 minutes. Anyone else get something similar?

What is the internal temperature? This winter it would be 20 degrees outside and a nice 80 in my car when the sun was shinning.

I'm confused, your original post refers to internal temperature and then you clarify later by referring to the temp displayed on the screen? There is no interior temp displayed on the screen.

He is referring to the phone application ! Climate - Interior.

Is he really complaining then that the phone app doesn't update the interior temp in real time every second? What other cars is he referring to do that?

I'll clarify - both appear messed up. Both what I see on the app for "internal temp" and what is displayed on screen while driving run 10-15 degrees too high.

The temperature on your screen is the outside temperature..... your phone app is the ONLY location that shows the internal car temperature
