My model 3 has no squeaks or rattles whatsoever. I am satisfied with all the panel gaps.
It had a few minor assembly defects (which one might call sloppy) I think due to rushed production at the time, but Tesla service fixed those things after delivery.
I would not be too concerned with minor cosmetic issues that they can correct.
What is most important to me is the main driving components (battery, motor, steering, brakes, suspension, etc.) are reliable.
For those parts, my Model 3 has been completely flawless for 10 months of driving.
There are some ongoing quibbles with the infotainment, mostly if you try to use USB flash as a music source, but overall, the functionality is beyond what I could find in any other car.
