Tesla Autopilot 1 OTA Install?

Sooooo I just took delivery of my Model S which was SUPPOSED to have Autopilot 1 installed and activated; however, when we got to the store it didn't have it enabled.

I had AutoPilot install put into my Due Bill, and the delivery specialist told me that I would need to schedule a service appointment to have it done?

Isn't this something that Tesla does OTA? Given that all the hardware is there, and they just need to push the software over.

Who can I call to have this done? I just got the car, and it kinda sucks to have to wait a week to use AutoPilot.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Based on them giving people free trials from time to time where they activate it over the air, you’d have thought it was possible (I know the trials were on EAP, but AP1 was the same principle). The only reason I can think of is they’ve detected a calibration issue that needs fixing.
