This has been discussed in depth elsewhere on here... but here's 1 quick thought.

This does not control for how much the cars are driven, Mercury, Saturn are not even made anymore, so the cars will be old and likely not driven as much or sitting around as a backup car so I'm not surprised those have the lowest rates of accidents.

These series of articles are so misleading that they could make the case for a new law that would create citizens lawsuits against individuals for knowingly spreading misinformation.
