Tesla discounts on soft products?

Now that it's clear that Tesla is giving unprecedented discounts to move cars, any thoughts on if Tesla will/should start running promotions for soft products for current owners?

Discounted software unlocks?
Discounted ESA/Extended Warranty?
Discounted charger upgrades?

Once you start discounting items, it becomes a slippery slope.

I would buy a 70->75 battery unlock right this moment if they shaved a grand off the price. Pure profit for Tesla. Would be a brilliant way to goose the quarter.

Just like every other public company, unfortunately. Though I totally understand the pressures they are under.

This could end when the model 3 start get them in the profit zone, the problem now is that they need to do at least a quarter with profit, since the next quarter will surely won't have profit, but then, when all the quarter will bring profit.. you won't have this problem anymore..
