they said it is a known firmware issue, they will patch it soon but no timeline yet.

That's the same thing they said about Sirius stations not showing up, though that's a minor problem compared to not being able to use cruise control or driver assist features! Hope they get it fixed soon!!

My understanding from the tesla forum, is it's because of a camera calibration issue for "some" cars. And they are trying to decide wether to bring the cars in to have the cameras manually calibrated or create another software fix like the cropping fix they did when cars would not initially calibrate.
