Tesla Inc. Loans?

Does anyone have experience purchasing their vehicles through Tesla.com, and utilizing the loan process therefrom?

And, what is people's thoughts that the used/new car loan % are the same at 4.25% (in estimation)? And, is there a Tesla loan page estimator that you can go to that doesn't automatically calculate the 10k/72/4.25 APR?

I thought the process was quick, seamless, and painless. I picked up my car last week and was given a 3.39% rate (great credit score), even though the application information said 4.25% was the published rate. I went with Tesla just to eliminate any hassle with my out-of-state credit union funding, which I experienced with the purchase of my last car.

Personally, I would do anything to avoid dealing with Tesla and money.

Pay cash or deal with your own CU/Bank.

That’s what Tesla Finance told me when I asked about buying out my lease with a loan from tesla
They said they don’t provide financing, they use outside banks

I have heard conflicting stories about this. I, of course, don't have first hand experience.

Although, regardless if they do or do not, I would assume the process through the website would be the same.

Didn't buy, but leased through them. They had to reprint one document so that took a few minutes extra. But at least they did not sit us in "Finance" and try to hard sell us undercoating or body protection packages like a normal car stealer.

Yes, they just refer the customer to an outside bank, in my case, Chase. You'll find out who when the loan papers are ready to sign. Tesla does all the paperwork on your behalf and you just show up, sign, and drive away.
