When you look at the Ontario MTO list of eligible vehicles for green plates under Tesla you see the following:

Tesla
OEM Model EV Type Model Years Trims/Styles
Tesla Roadster BEV 2010, 2011 All EV trims/styles
Tesla MCS BEV 2019 2084
Tesla Model S BEV 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 All EV trims/styles
Tesla Model X BEV 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 All EV trims/styles
Tesla Model 3 BEV 2018, 2019 AWD, RWD, P
Tesla XCE BEV 2019 X100D

What do they mean by MCS and XCE? Are these newer variants on the Model S and Model X? They seem new as the only model years relevant are 2019.

What do they mean by MCS and XCE? Are these newer variants on the Model S and Model X? They seem new as the only model years relevant are 2019.

It's probably a typo. It's not the first time that something like that would happen.
