Forget the power of Ludicrous off the line, we all know it is Insane ludicrous
you need it for
a) the sharper throttle response - the whole car just feels more "alive"
b) the mid range punch at say 40mph/65kmh is just awesome every time in daily driving and without even breaking the speed limit.
c) putting the biggest smile on your passngers, kids especially can't get enough of it.

You have only experienced half the car, so go do it again with Ludicrous and tell me i'm wrong :)
Thank you so much for all the details, you managed to make me curios about Ludicrous:) if I will ever put my hands on a P100D I will try it (hopefully by then I will not be afraid anymore :)

My daughter complains that I no longer do ludicrous launches. I have to re-assure her that I do but she's simply gotten used to it. When she turns 16 (almost 15 now), she'll be given our Prius. If she had the Tesla, she'd just abuse it being an acceleration junky :p
