Forget the power of Ludicrous off the line, we all know it is Insane ludicrous
you need it for
a) the sharper throttle response - the whole car just feels more "alive"
b) the mid range punch at say 40mph/65kmh is just awesome every time in daily driving and without even breaking the speed limit.
c) putting the biggest smile on your passngers, kids especially can't get enough of it.

You have only experienced half the car, so go do it again with Ludicrous and tell me i'm wrong

Wifey stays in Chill. But when I am driving and a nice looking section of road comes up or we are next to another car at a light I get the occasional wink with "DO IT".

I think you're way off the mark here. If you said Sport instead of Chill it might be plausible.

first thing my daughter does is check it is in Ludicrous; regularly have to stop her putting in Ludicrous+
I brought her up well.

Why Sport?

Sport on a P100D feels about like a P85 / 70D range to me. Chill feels like you're towing a school bus.

No, she has wrecked a Civic, Corolla, Escape and F250 since we have been together. The Civic hit a police car - LOL.
Never any one hurt as she was almost stopped each time. But she learned she does not think far enough ahead of traffic to be safe if she pushes the envelope.

My daughter complains that I no longer do ludicrous launches. I have to re-assure her that I do but she's simply gotten used to it. When she turns 16 (almost 15 now), she'll be given our Prius. If she had the Tesla, she'd just abuse it being an acceleration junky
