This is great, at the very least it breaks down the Roadster down to the basic components so we can better figure out things for ourselves. I'm sure as 3D printing gets more advanced we can make some of these parts ourselves
I could look at the catalog as "general public", but I found that I could not log in with the same credentials that I use to log in on tesla.com. Anyone else see the same?

You mean like CAD files for that stuff ... that would be nice! If I were master of Tesla the company, I'd put in place a process in which non-proprietary parts could be fully duplicated by others, and then go through a qualification program for various levels of warranty compatability and safety.
Were you able to find stainless clip-nuts? Those are the nuts that are used to hold the rear underpan. I've replaced a lot of mine but have not been able to find stainless.
