Tesla Semi range in 10 years

Great question. You assume 30-40% increase in capacity in 10 years. That seems possible.
However it might not make sense to just increase the range. More companies might be interested in the same 500 mile range but with a decreased Semi weight to haul more payload and less cost. Assuming the energy density of the improved battery cells are similar or better than today’s. It probably will depend how fast Tesla can ramp production. If there is still high demand for the 500 mile range Semi, use less cells to build more 500 mile capable Semis, rather than more cells to build less 700 mile capable Semis.
Either way, I can’t wait to see what things look like in 10 years.
