Tesla side income?

Hey everyone!

I'm getting really close to buying a Model 3 and really want to help offset the monthly costs with some simple side hustles.

Here's the question: what do you do to help supplement the cost of your Tesla? If you don't, why not?

Here's what I'm thinking on doing:
1. UberX/Lyft X on my way home from work (if I get a ride, nice!)

2. Food delivery apps on my way home from work (again if I get a hit I'll do it)

3. Renting out my Tesla on the weekends through Turo

What do you think?

I haven't had the need, but I think doing Uber might make sense. Regular Uber drivers don't make any money these days, but with the fuel/maintenance costs for a model 3 you might be able to make a "profit". On the other hand, you are putting miles on a relatively expensive/new car.

The Tesla is considered a luxury car with Uber so you get two times the normal rate. Think you could earn $1-$2 per mile so for putting in 5000 miles a year you could make a nice dent in the monthly payment. Plus you have little to no cost for fuel and can write off those miles?
