I'm trying to get reflective rim tape for my model 3, and I have the stock 18in Aero wheels.
So no-brainer I should order 18" rim tape so the tap can fit over the outer most expose metal border right? Well I took a tape measure to it just to be sure and I'm measuring 19.5" from the outer most metal edge end-to-end.
What gives? Do I need to order 19" rim tape if I want to apply it to the outer edge?
How are you supposed to measure rim size... am I doing it wrong?
