Electrek.Co on TwitterNew US energy secretary: 'There's a bright future for coal'
Just what we need with the new emissions record in 2019. +0.6% YOY to the prior record of 2018.Electrek - half hour ago: https://ww.electrek.co/2019/12/03/us-energy-secretary-dan-brouillette-coal/
Yesterday, Brouillette said that Donald Trump told him to figure out a way to boost coal.
Sad reality. What if we had to judge the quality of Teslas solely from TSLAQ reviews?I only look at the negative reviews.
Irrelevant. Need them Pennsylvania votes.Just what we need with the new emissions record in 2019. +0.6% YOY to the prior record of 2018.
NYT Carbon Dioxide Emissions Hit a Record in 2019, Even as Coal Fades
Difficult to say whether this secretary is an improvement or not. The last one wanted to shutdown the Energy department in 2012 campaign, along with 2 others. But he could only remember 1 - which ended his campaign.
I actually liked more the suggestion from someone on Twitter to Elon - buy Fox News and delete it.Irrelevant. Need them Pennsylvania votes.
Well, Christmas is just around the corner and I'm sure there are some naughty boys and girls out there...Electrek - half hour ago: https://ww.electrek.co/2019/12/03/us-energy-secretary-dan-brouillette-coal/

I'm not sure how true this is (nearly everyone driving for many hours between stops), despite many seeming to claim it to be true.I'm confused. Why would you need to stop every 100 to 150 miles if you have even 1000 miles of range? In our gas car, we typically drive 250 to 325 miles between stops. 95% of people who travel don't stop every 150 miles. That's only 2 hours of driving. Well, at least in the U.S.
Reuters - this afternoon: U.S. has not ruled out imposing tariffs on imported autos: Commerce chief
Unsworth's lawyer will now have to convince the jury that Unsworth's insult was not literal, while Elon's was.
The problem is, all of Elon's subsequent tweets and emails to Buzzfeed negates his claim that it was not said in literal sense.
Interesting. This could of course be good for Tesla if every imported EV gets slapped with a tariff, at which point the advantage of the competing imported EVs having the $7,500k federal EV credit is diminished, negated totally if tariff is higher than $7.5k. Needless to say the price advantage over imported non-EVs also grows.
Remember trade wars are easy to win/SExcept for when the EU slaps Retaliatory tariffs on Cars imported from the US.
