The Elliott Museum is a technology museum located in Stuart, Florida at 825 N.E. Ocean Blvd. It is only 20 miles from the Port Saint Lucie Superchargers. It has a comprehensive antique automobile collection, including a 1914 Detroit Electric. The collection is presented via a robotic, three-story stacking system allowing visitors to select vehicles for closer viewing and then watch as it moves from its storage slot onto a custom turntable. Museum admission is $12.
During January 18-19th they will have a Tesla available on the floor the museum, with Tesla representatives on hand to talk about the innovations in the Model S. For those interested they will have test drives that can be scheduled throughout the day during museum hours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition, on on Sunday morning January 19th at 8:30 a.m. for Tesla owners the museum will be hosting a coffee and cars. This would be a perfect opportunity to have a club meet-up.
On Thursday, January 23rd at 7 p.m. a lecture will be presented by Elliott Museum Education Coordinator Al Simbritz. “The fascinating history of the electric powered automobile in the United States".
