Test messaging phone compatibility

My company issued iPhone 8 was just replaced with a 2020 iPhone SE. Using the old phone I had no issues using voice command to send and listen to text messages, but with the new phone I get a message to say it is only
Enabled from iOS 13 or above, despite the fact mine is running 15.4.1.

Anyone know what the problem is?

Go into Bluetooth on the phone and there is a new option to allow messages to be read. Can’t recall the exact phrasing but it will likely off, just toggle it to on.
