Three beeps on exit

So as I was getting out of my car in my garage today, I heard the car quickly beep three times, and I think I saw the lights flash. Anyone know what's up with that?

Still in D? I get that if I stand up and it automatically switches over to Park.

Sometimes as I'm getting out of my car if I bend my leg just so and the fob in my pocket squeezes up against my wallet or something else in my pocket it may try to push a button or something that the car is warning me about.

I think there's a good chance that's what happened.

Or if you leave it in N and then open the door. I do that every now and again and it beeps a few times and goes to P.

How about no beeps? Recently while driving, a car in an adjacent lane began encroaching on my lane. I pressed the center of the steering wheel, no horn. I tried several more times before getting to a place where I could turn off the car - still no horn. Upon turn the car back on, the horn worked. I have had this experience with the turn signals and one time when the car would not turn on at all, until after a re-boot. Any thoughts? I now have a check list just after turning on the car: horn and turn signals.
