Tint on a lease return?

Does anyone know whether Tesla (well, US Bank) cares whether a lease returned car has window tint? (Not too dark)

When I’ve leased other cars in the past (mostly BMWs), it hasn’t been an issue.

No issue on mine either. They removed it before listing it for sale.

I was told - by the local guy that reconditions returned cars - that ANY modifications (tint, PPF, hitch, etc) WILL be removed - he had no flexibility on that. He also said the owner returning the car is "supposed to" be charged for the removal; but that wasn't as firm - I got the impression that they may or may not charge, depending.

No actual experience though; I just returned a lease, but didn't modify the car (largely for this reason).

Circling back on this--I'm returning my M3P next month and currently have tinted windows. Has anyone had large repair charges with their lease?
