Tire selection help

Just got TEs in 19x9.5 +28 spec. Looking at tires now. I’m currently on coilovers and would like to close the wheel gap as much as possible but also not be so low that driveways and speed bumps become an issue.

After doing some research, 265/35 or 255/35 are the normal tire size for the 19x9.5 set up. My question is, can I run a 245/40/19 with out any issues? Rubbing during turns or cornering?

TIA

The 255/35 is going to be tallest that will fit and would be a good option overall. 275/35R19 would be the next choice for a more substantial appearance (though you might need more camber to fit a 275 inside the fender at +28, and the 275 would be less efficient).

The 245/40R19 will be too tall to fit under the front knuckle.

As @Hadie said, I was incorrect! I misread as 245/45, when you only said 245/40. Yes, 245/40 would be the simplest fitment.
