From the reviews I've seen, the AD09 is looking like a good choice for track days, Autocross and sprint-type events. Up to now here in the UK, the go-to tyre has been the AR-1, but it seems the AD09 may have some advantages.
So the question is, has anyone here tried both and can give an opinion on how they compare? Or if you run AD09s competitively, how do they wear, how fast to ghet up to temperature, do the shoulders suffer with factory camber settings, what pressures do you run?
Also, I see a few here are running 265/35/19 AD09s on 19x9.5 rims.
I'm running 275/35/19 AR-1s with 3.5 deg. of camber and rubbing isn't a problem.
I've been told the AD09 is a more square-shouldered tyre so would it work in 275? Anyone using that size on an otherwise stock M3P?
TIA!
