PURCHASED EVERYTHING TODAY!!! WILL BE INSTALLED TOMORROW! CAN'T WAIT!!!

I bought 20x9 ET38 245/40/20 for the front and 20x10 ET40 275/35/20 for the rear. I think it will look good. Not super aggressive offsets, but just enough.

Does anyone have experience with running 255/35R20 on the fronts? I'm trying to finalize my tire choice for the new 20x9s i'm about to get. It seems from my reading that 255/40R20s seem to rub a bit at a certain angle, but wondering if the 255/35 would clear it.

For comparison:
245/40R19 has a diameter of 26.7" (778 rev/mile) with approx 9.6" width
255/35R20 has a diameter of 27" (769 rev/mile) with approx 10" width

255/40R20 has a diameter of 28" (741 rev/mile) with approx 10" width

Just for reference, the OEM 21" turbines come with 245/35R21, which has a diameter of 27.8"

Wait, does the stock 19 slipstreams come with 245/45R19? If so, that's a 27.7" overall diameter. Then I could see why 255/40 should be close to 19 OEM, but i guess that 0.3" difference in diameter and slightly more wide size is what's causing the rubbing?

Yep they are 245/45R19 stock on the slipstreams.

I just ordered some 20" wheels, 9" front and 10" rear, with 245/40R20 front and 275/35R20 rear, ET35 all around. They should get here tomorrow but I won't have them mounted for a couple of weeks probably.
