Tire Talk - MX wheels + 295 rear?

295 should not rub on 20x9.5
Your car doesn’t seem that low
But it will poke out past the fenders as you mentioned before, so just stick to 285? The picture below is not mine and the owner installed 275 on those. That's why I was thinking perhaps 285 will be safer to install as the 275 already seem to be reaching the edge of the rim.

255/35/20 overall diameter is 27 inches compared to 27.7 inches 245/40/20
No rubbing on reverse or full lock turns
Apologies for beating this to death, but when you use a Calculator such as this one - Tire Size Calculator and key in the sizes, the 295 width tire is recommended to be on at least a 10 inch tire. My MX rear wheel is a 9.5 inch tire. The last thing I want is to compromise my safety with a tire that is too wide for the rim which I would imagine will cause the mid section of the tire to "bulge" out a tad more and not be 100% flat on the road.
