Tires: Delivery Month Determine Summer Performance or A/S?

Hi,

Is it fair to say that summer performance tires are included with the car when delivery occurs in warmer months but If my delivery is in Feb I will be getting A/S tires?

Right, I was confused as well. Northeast has settled-out to be Michelin only lately. Seems like everything in Illinois and Eastward qualifies.

I believe they are moving mostly to the All Seasons at this point. I started a poll about a month ago asking those that recently took deliveries of their PMY's which tires they came with (see attached link). 77% said the All Seasons (22 people responded so relatively small sample size). I'm in St. Louis and have delivery in a couple weeks. My SA confirmed via text that my PMY is coming with the All Seasons.

They probably can’t source all the same type of tire for every vehicle come off the factory floor. You probably get what Tesla has in inventory at the time they built it. OR they may build them by region . One can only guess but it appears they are still coming with both.

I’ve read some other MA cars getting the Michelins. Sounds like it’s just random and I’ve bad luck.
