Im doing a similar setup but do not want the tire well gap to be that big.... would a 255/40/21 and 275/40/21 be better fit?

Stopped by Discount Tire yesterday and was advised that corporate won't even let them install the 265 & 295/40/21 tire combo. Ridiculous! I ran into this issue with Pep Boys and Peerless Tires 4 Less. Tire World eventually installed the tires albeit their service techs weren’t exactly thrilled...

closing the loop here - hope these pics help folks see LR with 21" outcome potential. 275/35/21 all around on 10.5" rims.

not the happiest with the space in the wheel well on this size but idk many other options i had on 10.5s all around besides 275/40/21 which failed.

ride quality ~10 mi later (from OEM pirelli to OEM michelin) feels like 20% improvement on road bump/cracks/pothole absorption. wouldn't say full night/day difference from pirelli but noticeably better. will report back if wife (harsher critic) has any additional feedback...

My thoughts also. I have a set of square Ubers 21x10.5 and wanting to run a 275/40 tire.

I’m hoping @tainy22 chimes in on whether or not the spacer would clear the knuckle issue???
