Took Delivery Today

Today was my delivery day and all went well. I checked over the car and could not find any issues interior or exterior. My pickup location was Devon, PA. They were very busy delivering cars but gave me plenty of time to setup the car. I was not able to link to the Tesla APP on my phone. The delivery person said it would take awhile until my account updates with my car. After I got home I was able to setup my phone. When I went to charge the car I noticed the charging door was slightly misaligned. It was being charged when I checked it at delivery so I didn’t notice it. I will follow up with service. Other than that, I am very pleased with the car. It was a joy to drive.

Great to hear, I'm still waiting on my VIN assignment, but I'll be picking up at Devon some day.

Me too! Red/black LR with induction wheels. Couple of minor paint problems. Most fixable. One is a missed spot that was clear coated over. Honestly fixing it will probably make it worse. Rear seats misaligned but not a big deal to me at this point. Love the car so far. Took it in Mt Kisco, NY. Wouldn’t connect to their WiFi though... the delivery specialist was great, talked me through it.

My Blue/Black/LR is allegedly on its way to Devon, but is stopping at Chicago first before I get notified of final deployment/schedule. VIN is in the source code, but not showing on regular page. 0095XX

Fingers crossed. I had to get fixes on my M3 (RIP) when it came out, but just a door adjustment and some clips on a sagging wheel well liner.

Congratulations! I took delivery of my MY (blue/black, AWD, induction) back in late March with (VIN 2xxx) and was making myself super nervous to read about all the concerns people were having. When I took delivery, the service center had it for several days before they delivered it to me and must have fixed a lot of the issues because when I took delivery everything seemed to be working right. Later I noticed some small paint defect at the corner of the taillights that they fixed. The only thing now is there's a rattle from the middle seat that I have an appointment with the service center to get checked.

It's my first Tesla, but I couldn't be happier with the car. All the minor issues are things that I can deal with, but I understand that other people have bigger problems with their cars unfortunately and if I was them I'd be just as upset. But hopefully, most have experiences like yours and mine as well where the issues are minor and they can enjoy their new toy. =)
