touchless delivery

Scheduled to pick up my 2020 MX on Friday in texas, they said they are still doing deliveries because they are doing touchless deliveries. Does anyone have any insight on what that means as far as orientation, education, walkthrough. Has anyone had this type of delivery yet?

If they are doing the new Tesla touchless delivery as per the Tesla site: Delivery Options

Then no, you're not going to get any walkthrough or insight into the vehicle. It's contactless delivery, you'll even have to mail documents back that will be left within the vehicle, rather than handing them over to the driver.

Did my pickup today in Scottsdale. They had a table and umbrella setup in the parking lot. Everything was kept to about a 6ft barrier. I got as much time as I needed to inspect, ask questions etc, they were very good.

update, delivery went well, some minor paneling issues, trunk/frunk alignment, but yes just signed a paper, they answered any questions and took pictures. very easy.

Education and orientation is being done by watching videos on your in dash display. No need for a person to be inside, next to you.

They said they would have the service center fix it. Have not heard from them yet. Ill reach out and make an apt
