When did you guys place your order. If recently then there would be no price change. Those of us who ordered very early have seen a couple of price changes during the waiting time. For me, the addition of a hitch increased the car's price by $2990. I'll wait for that price.

For those not following the other thread, there’s now strong indication that the Y will come with a 2” receiver.

Stealth Hitch (and there are others) makes a trailer hitch for the Model 3. Considering the similarities between the 3 and the Y I would expect them to come out with a trailer hitch for the Model Y soon. I have the Stealth Hitch on my Model 3 and it works fine for pulling small utility trailers short distances. Have also used the small cargo carriers that connect into the hitch. I don't see a bike rack being a big deal but have never used one.

I want to buy the stealth hitch for a bike rack for my Tesla 3. I noticed today there is no cut out in the plastic panel at the rear facia of the car. Did you have this problem? When you take the receiver off when you don’t want to use the bike rack, there will be nothing to protect the cutout made to hold the hitch. Did you have this problem?
