Tow Mode and Pin To Start

Does anybody know if you can put a model 3 into tow mode even though it has a pin to start?
There is a car for sale at auction that has a pin to start but the auction house does not have a pin.

So without the 4 digit pin to start the car can you place it into tow mode?

Not likely. And if it has a PIN what are you going to do with it when you get it home? Perhaps a service center can override it but you will need supporting documentation that you are indeed the current owner.

You provide tesla the bill of sale and transfer of ownership documents and they add it to your account. All settings get erased.

Yeah wheel Dollies are the backup plan.

I was only joking, but now that I think about it, enumeration is totally feasible. I could probably do 1000 tries in an hour or so. Do that 3 times a day, you'll be in in a few days.

If you are going to run the pins, try this list first! Likely car pin frequencies are similar to ATM pins. Do these and you are at 25% chance.

After that you should do 1900-2022 since birth years are common.

Glad to see that my birthyear, ATM PIN, any of my credit card PINs, or any of my previous home addresses are not on the list. HOWEVER, my birthdate IS!
