Transfer Plates

So I’m about to take delivery of my MY. I haven’t decided if I’m trading in my current car through Tesla or selling it to a local dealer. Does anyone know how I could transfer plates in either scenario? I live in Ohio if that matters. Does Tesla handle it if you trade in through them or if I sold the call after or prior to delivery, could I use those plates again and if so, how? I see Tesla is already going to charge me a registration fee in my documents.

Since our DMV is closed I asked someone at the local showroom, and he said they take care of it.

I'm in CT and picking up in NY. They said they'll give a temp plate to use and put through my transfer paperwork.
