While I respect her ingenuity and spirit, I think it's a terrible mod. I prefer the Model S wagon (shooting brake) from a few years back.

That was cool.

The 'problem' for me is that the real Tesla pickup will (when?) likely be just too big and the truncated 3 was a good size..

I love this truckla. But then again I just finished a business trip in south east Asia. Safety as a passenger was a hope too far removed from reality. Ha!

Not to argue that point, but Ford just announced thousands of cuts in their European side of business and decided to introduce more electric vehicles in Europe. Is that karma?

Putting a pickup shell cover would be more useful, nicer looking, and certainly more efficient when driving.
- Unless you keep using this pickup in farm land, you cannot leave anything in the truck bed because everything will fly away when driving.
- If you park in the street, you might not experience getting a broken window, but you cannot leave anything in the trunk.
- I would recommend putting a lock to the cover of the rear trunk well.

Note: It would be interesting to measure the range lost.

I put the Truckla video on F***b00k...it was banned..evidently Truckla is a dirty word...unbelievable.
