I have a 2015 Model and when I am loading- the trunk stays open a long time and the rear can get pretty full - the latch breaks. The trunk latch no longer locks. I have been to Tesla repair many times. This last time I had an appointment on Tuesday but the Saturday prior I had a wheel swap done And the shop some how got the latch working. So I don’t believe the latch actually breaks - Tesla has just been replacing the latch.
Any ideas? My extended warranty is ending soon and I want to know how to fix issue. I think it has to do with locking software and the latch being out of sync. Thank you
