Trying to Activate Apple Podcasts

The holiday update includes Apple Podcasts. This is what happened when I tried to activate it:

1. Scanned the QR code on my phone
2. Shared the resulting URL to my iMac
3. Entered the URL
4. Logged into Apple using my Apple ID
5. Got this:

6. QR code still displayed in the car.
7. Rebooted the screen in the car
8. It still displays the QR code.

I tried logging in on my phone, but because of some restrictions I've set up, I wasn't able to do that.

Any suggestions?

What are these "restrictions" you've set up?
Mine worked right away after scanning QR and allowing permission on my phone.

I use Yubikey security keys, and for some reason, it failed on my phone and also on my tablet.

To try to resolve this, I removed that restriction, was able to log in on my phone, and it still failed.

Do you have an Android phone or an iPhone?

Did you get the "Your car will refresh to continue" message?

Did the QR code on the screen just go away and the podcasts were there?

Yep, it populated all my podcasts right away. Even syncs the duration for each episode

Someone on Reddit said that it took three attempts before it worked.

I've found that others are having the same problem, so hopefully it will be fixed soon.
